SORIANO, TURA ATTEND I.T. ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION
adminGENERAL SANTOS CITY (September 11, 2014) – Maria Corazon Soriano, Data Controller II and Roger Tura, Data Controller I, both from the office of the Information and Communications Technology Division (ICTD) under the City Mayor’s Office participate in the IT Roundtable Consultation and Making IT Easy Event sponsored by Microgenesis Business Solution at the Keppel Tower Business Park in Cebu City on September 11, 2014. The event is in partnership with Microsoft Philippines.
ICTD representatives also visit its counterpart office in Cebu – the Management Information and Computer Services (MICS) located at the 5th Floor, City Hall Building, Cebu City in order to learn something that ICTD may adopt including Cebu’s approaches in developing in-house system which Cebu is known for.
Soriano and Tura hit two events in one travel, knowing the current trends in information technology through business solutions presented and learning the techniques of other LGUs in managing and operating an information office.
ICTD General Santos was only created through City Ordinance No. 14 Series of 2012 and fully operational only in May 2013.
