20 LGU OFFICES AVAIL ICTD’S DOCUMENT TRACKING
GENERAL SANTOS CITY (January 16, 2015) – As of January 16, 2015, two more offices requested for the installation of the Document Tracking System (LG-DTS) developed by the system development team of ICTD General Santos. City Internal Audit Sytem (CIAS) spearheaded by Coralyn Espinosa, CPA and the City Public Information Office (CPIO) also requested the services of ICTD for the LG-DTS use.
There are some offices who requested for the installation but not yet implemented due to hardware or peopleware problem, other offices tried the system for comparison purposes as their office is using another document tracking system developed by HRMDO and/or CPDO.
Anna Lou Buyco, Computer Programmer I, is supervising the installation and user training of the system. Rolando Patac, Jr. and Roger Tura, both a regular staff of ICTD holding a position of Data Controller I, lead the assessment of hardware and network peripherals to identify compatibility and availablability of hardware.
Percival Pasuelo, ICT Division Chief, a user of LG-DTS himself, requested Leonard Pe, IT Officer I, to enhance and provide additional features especially creating reports to generate the aging or not complied correspondence. All outgoing documents are stamped with incoming document first for monitoring purposes.
ICTD’s Document Tracking System already received an “Outstanding Rating” by the PMT team for the January to June 2014 SPMS implementation.
