COOPERATIVE – FINANCING SYSTEM, KICKS OFF

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (March 9, 2015) – Kiel Estocapio, Computer Programmer I, handles the programming phase of the Special Projects and Cooperative Information System (LG-SPCIS) as requested by the cooperative division of the City Economic Management Cooperative and Development Office or CEMCDO. Sometime in 2014, they requested for a financing system. In response to the request, ICTD conducted a pre-assessment presentation defining the roles and responsibilities of the requesting party and ICTD who explained to the requestor all the details and requirement of the system in the course of its development. What to be expected including the who will program and when can the system be completed – are all discussed in the pre-assessment activity.

As a standard procedure, ICTD follows the System Development Life Cycle or SDLC to ensure each phase are complete and conformed by both parties before proceeding to the next phase. The proposed system is included in ICTD Department Plan for 2015 with specific Success Indicator targeting it to be turned-over in the last quarter of 2015.

Estocapio, the developer assigned in this system is a graduate of BS Information Technology from STI General Santos and also a former trainee of ICTD last June to October 2014, joined CEMCDO in February 2015 and detailed at ICTD for the said system development.
