Information and Communications Technology Division (ICTD) Conducts OJT Mentoring Program

Under the mentoring program of the Information and Communications Technology Division of the City Mayor’s Office, CHSS In Charge Jing Tura and Engr. Mark de los Reyes presented ideas and presentation to the students of Goldenstate College undergoing OJT curriculum.

CHSS In Charge, Jing Tura presented to the students the Basic Computer Operation this Monday, which aims to teach the students the fundamentals of computer hardware, components, parts, and troubleshooting the unit. While Engr Mark de los Reyes discussed about Basic Network Operation this Tuesday, to fully understand the importance, components and fundamentals of computer networks and its technicalities.

The initiative is part of the 400-hour OJT curriculum of the school which will end this last week of November. In addition, part of the learning and training of the students during their OJT with the ICTD was the maintenance of the City’s official website.

They were also exposed to various responsibilities that will help them fully understand their Information Technology course.

The ICTD will again open the office for more students that will undergo On the Job Training. FC/MGP
