Inside General Santos City: A Virtual Office Tour Of Lgu-Gsc Offices And Its Instrumentalities Project

"Inside General Santos City: A Virtual Office Tour Of Lgu-Gsc Offices And Its Instrumentalities Project" is an innovative and interactive ICT project that offers  a virtual experience of touring the city hall's offices. It will be installed in the lobby of city hall using touchscreens and will also be available online and posted on the official website of the city. Users will be able to virtually navigate through the different offices, learn about the functions of each department and interact with various elements of the city hall. The project aims to provide transparency and accessibility to the public about the inner workings of the city hall of General Santos City.

Objectives:
To provide access to the city hall's offices to people who may not be able to visit in person.
To promote transparency by allowing the public to see the inner workings of the city hall's offices.
To increase engagement and interest in the city hall's operations.
To provide a better understanding of how the city hall's offices function and their importance in the community.
To eliminate the need for physical tours, saving time and resources for the city hall and visitors.
To be used as an educational tool to teach students about local government and civic engagement.
To promote accountability by allowing the public to see how the city hall's offices operate and how decisions are made.
To offer accessibility to people with disabilities, providing equal access to information.
To increase trust between the public and the city hall by providing transparency and access to information.
To promote civic engagement and transparency in local government.

1. By the end of June 2023, all offices within the Investment Building are covered in the tour and completed with the following features:
A. All rooms included
B. Office Hours | Contact Info: email, phone, mobile
C. Head of Office and Admin Officers and Designates
D. Services Rendered
2. By the end of September  2023, all offices within the Old City Hall Building are covered in the tour and completed with the four features listed above.
3. By the end of December 2023, all offsite offices of LGU-GSC are covered in the tour and completed with the four features listed above.
