It was through the Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No. 5 Series of 2012 and City Ordinance No. 14 Series of 2012 which formally approved the creation of a new division called the Information and Communications Technology Division (ICTD) under the City Mayor’s Office. In July 2013, the ICTD staff started assessing, planning and evaluating the hardware, software and peopleware components of IT through series of user interviews and IT inventory.
